Dr Mark Harrison of St John's Cathedral Counselling Service gave a talk on ‘Navigating the changes in children’s mask wearing behaviours’ in St John's Cathedral on 11 May, 2023. Drawing on research findings and the experiences of teachers and school counsellors, Dr Harrison shared the effects of mask wearing on children’s educational and social-emotional development and wellbeing.
The event was the first talk of the Cathedral’s lunchtime series ‘Christians in Central’ this year. The monthly talk series had been suspended because of COVID and was resumed this month. The upcoming talk will be given by Professor Ivan Fan Ngai Hung on 13 June. The topic is: Post COVID-19, What’s Next? All are welcome to join at 1pm-2pm in St John’s Cathedral.
