We held a general meeting in February 2019 and elected a new standing committee. The focus of this year’s work and activities is [Consolidate strength and strengthen relationships]. The purpose is to allow members in the parishes to deepen mutual understanding and enhance friendship in the Lord, so that we can cooperate more closely and promote the work of the Diocese Women’s League.

In 2019, the Diocese Women’s League continued to support and participate in the work of the HKSKH Women's League, including participation in {The World Prayer Day} in March, the annual fundraising campaign and Christmas visits in December. We had an outing on November 30th to experience the activities under historical and cultural conservation program managed by the HKSKH Welfare Council - {Kowloon City in Transformation} Kowloon City Theme Walking Trail Guided Tour. Apart from strengthening friendship among members, we also learnt more about the work of Church’s social service organization in the community.

In the beginning of 2020, the Diocesan Bishop appointed Revd Jason Leung Chi Wai as the new chaplain of the Diocese Women’s League. Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, we were unable to meet in person. However, our standing committee and executive committee still maintain contact through the use of information technology.

We are thankful as we approach the 20th anniversary of the founding of the Diocese Women’s League. Although we could not make plans for any celebration activities, our sisters still encourage each other through our prayers, not forgetting to actively participate in the annual fundraising campaign held by the HKSKH Women's League and Christmas visit.
