Prayer for the Fire at Wang Fuk Court in Tai Po
Merciful Lord,
you are the salvation of the living and the deceased.
In this time of sorrow, please heal all the injured victims,
receive the souls of the departed, and comfort those who have lost loved ones, neighbours, and homes.
Grant them peace and solace from above.
We ask that you support all people who feel troubled and sorrowful due to this fire.
Please also grant us a heart of mutual love, that we may experience your loving presence.
Give grace to all front line emergency workers, medical personel, police,
social service workers and volunteers, that they are sustained by you.
We pray for the Hong Kong community,
that we may all reach out to our neighbours in need at this time of trial,
and brave the challenges ahead together.
This we pray in the name of your Holy Son,
our saviour Jesus Christ. Amen.
