Prayer for the Fire at Wang Fuk Court in Tai Po
Merciful Lord,
our saviour in both life and death,
who grants us the willingness to care for each other, in witness of your loving power;
bless all those toiling on the front lines, the first responders,
medical workers, police, social workers, and all volunteers,
that their body and soul may be kept safe as they lend their helping hand.
We pray also for the people of Hong Kong,
that we may all reach out to our neighbours in need at this time of trial,
and brave the challenges ahead together.
This we pray in the name of your Holy Son,
our saviour Jesus Christ. Amen.
