祝文
1) Almighty God, you have given extraordinary courage to your servant Catharine, that she was able to stand before the powerful and mighty of this world and fearlessly confessed the holy name of our Saviour Jesus Christ. She steadfastly kept the faith passed down by the Apostles, and calmly died a martyr’s death: prepare us O Lord, that we may confess our faith and hope at any time, and be willing to suffer indignation and adversity for the sake of our Lord; we ask this through your Son our Lord Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with the Father and the Holy Spirit, now and for ever. Amen. [OR] 2) Almighty God, your blessed servant Catharine relied on your grace and strength and triumphed over all suffering, she had sacrificed her life to uphold the true faith: we now come before you in gratitude to commemorate her: give us grace O Lord, that we may witness the Lord faithfully all the days of our life, and stand beside her to receive the crown of life; we ask this through your Son our Lord Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with the Father and the Holy Spirit, now and for ever. Amen. [OR] 3) Almighty and everlasting God, you have ignited the fire of love in the heart of the martyred Catharine: we are your humble servants, grant O Lord, that as we celebrate her victory, we may revere their pious deeds and receive countless gifts of grace; we ask this through your Son our Lord Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with the Father and the Holy Spirit, now and for ever. Amen.
