1) Almighty and everlasting God, we give you thanks for calling your servant Nicholas to spread the gospel of Christ: Encourage the hearts and minds of Christians all over the world to join the ranks of missionaries, that they may spread the gospel and announce the coming of the heavenly kingdom; and that the Church may proclaim to the world that the whole fullness of God the Father dwells bodily in our Saviour Jesus Christ: We ask this through your Son our Lord Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with the Father and the Holy Spirit, now and for ever. Amen.
