全能的上帝，我們的天父， 曾藉愛子的寶血，將聖而公的教會贖歸主有。 求主憐憫、眷顧教會， 引導管理所有牧養主民的會督之心， 使他們不輕易按立任何人為聖品， 但須以忠誠智慧，選擇適當堪配的人，受任聖職， 又求主施天恩， 祝福將受各等聖職的人， 使他們的生活及信仰， 上可以歸榮耀與主， 下可以扶助萬民得救； 此賴我主耶穌基督而求。 阿們。 ALMIGHTY God, our heavenly Father, who hast purchased to thyself an universal Church by the precious blood of thy dear Son: Mercifully look upon the same, and at this time so guide and govern the minds of thy servants the Bishops and Pastors of thy flock, that they may lay hands suddenly on no man, but faithfully and wisely make choice of fit persons to serve in the sacred Ministry of thy Church. And to those who shall be ordained to any holy function give thy grace and heavenly benediction; that both by their life and doctrine they may set forth thy glory, and set forward the salvation of all men; through Jesus Christ our Lord.
