詩歌內容：    詩歌作者Caleb Simper所撰寫的大部份作品，都很適合在教區層面獻唱，因為他所採用的格調都傾向大眾化，教友可與詩班自由同頌。今天，在耶穌基督復活的大日子，詩班唱頌這首《King of Kings！》實在適合不過，因為一方面Caleb Simper所選用的詞均從聖經中精挑細選，從舊約走到新約啟示錄，另一方面，曲調的氣氛則高度配合了基督的得勝、從死裡復活的前因後果，好讓會眾深刻地重新思考復活節的意義。

歌曲首句便是以宣告的形式，引述詩篇118:24「這是耶和華所定的日子，我們在其中要高興歡喜。」繼而論述到主耶穌從死裡復活的章節，羅馬書6:9「因為知道基督既從死裡復活，就不再死，死也不再作他的主了。」在起承轉合的部份，曲調與歌詞高度配合地演繹出聖保羅在哥林多前書15:55-57所論述的「死阿！你得勝的權勢在那裡？死阿！你的毒鉤在那裡？死的毒鉤就是罪！罪的權勢就是律法！感謝神！使我們藉著我們的主耶穌基督得勝！」最後，詩班（與會眾）均一同歡呼：「哈利路亞！因為主我們的神、全能者，作王了！」（啟示錄19:6）
