1) Incline your ear and hear my words, and apply your mind to my teaching. (Titus 2:11-12) [OR] 3) Blessed are you who are poor, for yours is the kingdom of God. (Luke 6:20b)

祝文
1) Eternal God, who made Benedict a wise master in the school of your service and a guide to many called into community to follow the rule of Christ: grant that we may put your love before all else and seek with joy the way of your commandments; through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, who is alive and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen. [OR] 2) O God, your blessed Son has humbled himself so that we may reap a life of abundance: save us O Lord, that we may abstain from the enticement of the temporal world, let us take heed of the pious deeds of your servant Benedict, that we may serve you devotedly all the days of our life, we ask this through your Son our Lord Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with the Father and the Holy Spirit, now and for ever. Amen. [OR] 3) O God, by your gift of grace, your love burnt strong in the heart of your servant Benedict, and he exuded warmth and light in your Church: give grace O Lord, that your love and your spirit of self-restraint may also burn bright in our life, and that we may walk before you as children of light; we ask this through your Son our Lord Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with the Father and the Holy Spirit, now and for ever. Amen.
